What's a great place to work without a little fun?

The first-ever PETRONAS Group ICT Sports Carnival that began in August culminated with a final showdown among the competing teams on 5 November 2016, at the Panasonic Stadium, Shah Alam.

Organised by the Employees Relation team from Human Resource(HR), as well as committee members from Operations,Muhmmad Kamarulzaman Mohamad Sairi and Faizul Harris Mohd Kamal, and Enterprise Project Management Office,Tang Kiah Siang, the organising committee worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the Sports Carnival successfully built team spirit and camaraderie among Group ICT employees.

The Sports Carnival themed "Colour Your Spirit" saw the following teams compete over a period of three months, each seeking to out do the other to collect as many medals as possible.

The very first tournaments that took place on 24 September were badminton and sepak takraw games. These were followed by volleyball, bowling, futsal, netball and golf tournaments throughout the month of October.

The Sports Carnival revealed the competitive spirit among our employees as players trained hard for the games, often having to practice after work hours and on weekends to refine their strategy and skill.

The Sports Carnival finale began with the parade of the four sports houses, each led by its mascots and all who competed in the games. Then came the Zumba dancers, who got many from the bleachers to the field for an energetic Zumba session. Telematches, climbing the inflatable walls and jumping in bubble balls brought parents and kids together for a fun-filled day.
