Starting the Year in Search of Talent

At TalentCorp Malaysia's Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) 2015, PETRONAS ICT's Talent Acquisition team joined 50 other companies in search of top talent for targeted sectors such as Engineering, IT, Business, Banking and Finance.

Held over the weekend of 17-18 January, PETRONAS ICT's booth saw up to 1200 visitors who were keen to find out more about who we are, what we do and what type of opportunities are available in our organisation.

PETRONAS ICT also participated in a speed interview session as well as a networking session with JPA (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam) scholars which allowed our recruiters to speak one-on-one with a
select group of highly qualified candidates and find out their aspirations, challenges and concerns of joining the workforce. 


VP-GCIO/CEO Redza Goh also joined the team in making PETRONAS ICT's presence felt – taking a CEO Walkabout with peers from other organisations, manning the booth and talking to visitors, who jumped at the chance of face time with the boss.

Response from this career fair has been overwhelming. There were many on the spot applications from the networking sessions, the Talent Acquisition team received inspirational notes from visitors in their mailboxes on Monday morning, and most importantly, hundreds of applications (and growing) have been submitted through PETRONAS' career website for PETRONAS ICT jobs.
It was a rewarding experience to see the level of interest in our organisation evidenced by the number of applications received in a short span of time. The Talent Acquisition team would like to thank Redza Goh (CEO) and Izwan Hasli M Ibrahim (COO) and Strategic Communications for their support; as well as a great working team from PDD, Operations, Upstream IT, VCM, EPMO and HR who worked tirelessly to attend to the steady stream of visitors at our booth.
