Close to 1,300 PETRONAS ICT employees came together with smiles and good cheer on Friday, 6 July to celebrate PETRONAS ICT's Hari Raya gathering. This year's event featured a variety of sumptuous and authentic Malay delicacies. The food was served on four floors of the PETRONAS ICT office; between Level 21 and 24 in Menara ExxonMobil.
Evergreen Hari Raya Aidilfitri songs played in the background, lifting the mood of the employees who came that day clad in colourful baju kurung and baju Melayu to celebrate the joyful occasion at the well decorated venue.
The event started at 2.30 p.m. with welcome remarks by PETRONAS Group Chief Information Officer (GCIO) and PETRONAS ICT Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Redza Goh. Employees also observed a moment of silence to show respect on the passing of Mohd Asrul Ezwadi Aziz from Operations Division Support (ODS) earlier that morning.
PETRONAS ICT employees took the opportunity to take photos with PETRONAS ICT CEO Redza Goh during his tour from Level 21 to Level 24.
Following his remarks, Redza then went on to meet with the rest of Group ICT colleagues on Level 22, 23 and 24. Apart from the festive cheer, the other treat included the sampling of a splendid spread on all four floors which included the 'must-haves' Raya delicacies such as nasi impit, rendang, satay, kuah kacang, and kambing golek. There were some unique dishes on different floors and everyone was encouraged to visit each floor.
